I've been eyeing up 4x4s for a while....
Biggest issue with the bimmer and snow is more the lack of ground clearance than the more obviously issues!

Light ish covering i]of snow here- I would not drive or bivvy in this but I am off out on the bike in a few minutes I am expecting to crash

Well done in catching the notice and turning round. I've got ride of the Subaru Legacy and in the rear drive Lexus now. Really worried about it all
but hoping 4x snow tires might help a little (if I get em on in time)...
