Gravel bike mudguards

Any recommendations for a set of relatively unobtrusive clip on guards for a bike with no mounts. I tried sks clip ons and hated them. Looking for something quite small at the front to limit spray and something better than an ass saver at the back.

Did you try speed rockers? I found them to be more or less as good as "proper" SKS guards.

I'm sure in your case Dave, it's the right tool for the job, rather than an instagram accessory

Mudhugger do a gravel guard for the rear, crud catcher up front and you're sorted

Edit: If you want full coverage just get a set of normal SKS 'guards and employ cable ties to attach. I've done this a few times and they have been plenty solid. Plus if you've bottle cage mounts on the forks you can run the front stays to them.

When you say 'sks clip ons and hated them' can you be more specific as they do a vast range?
Only ask as I have a set of Veloflex with light use of rear and front never used.

I have front and rear gravelhuggers from Mudhugger. I think they're great, but would prefer the rear to follow the wheel more.

I think the front gravelhugger and rear speed rocker would be ideal for me.

For the front, some 0.8mm polypropelyne sheet and cut out a copy of a front MTB spray guard, made longer and narrower? I've made a few mudflaps from it and they're lasting well. Same stuff Asssavers are cut from.
A mini-mudhugger for the rear might work out ok if there's a seat stay bridge to fix it to.
