The postie has just dropped off Rouleur which I get now as privateer has finished. It's doubly annoying as the package won't fit through the letter box and Rouleur is about as interesting a read as the yellow pages. :|

Postman didn't bring this but what the heck, if you can post lego I can post bikes, even if I had to go and pick it up myself.

Looks like a Kona stem, I have one of those somewhere, amongst other assorted tat, you should have asked.

Is anything else required? Are you really going to ride 100 miles on a shopper bike?

No, only the 100 for me and yes, if it's complete then I'll ride it.

It's a shame the 2 start lines are in different places now, I won't get to see you riding it. I guess depending on how it rides we might catch you up though.

You know what they say ... downstairs for dancing, upstairs for thinking ;)

A pair of Alienation Ankle Biter rims in 451 flavour rather than the more usual 406 size ... must be about 1/5 of the weight of a standard steel rim.

Not the post man but some has just turned up with a '78 Z650 for Dee. It's been sat in a barn for 7 years so it looks like I'll be coming out of retirement

A Z650 … very nice. Pix please. I am sitting here hoping she's has found one that is classic mid-70's Kwaka green. I had a 1976 Z900 for a couple of years (brown with gold pin striping) while I was living in Melbourne. It would do random speed wobbles over 120kph and brakes that were little more than ornaments but I loved it. It died when I hit a tram track at just the wrong angle and I watched it disintegrate as it bounced down the road. That was in 1987 and Im still not over it.
I'm just going outside ...

You should enjoy that Ian, it's very good. These 2 are also worth tracking down.
