BB200 The night before…

Hi all, not done the BB200 for a good number of years and wondering whether anyone knows of any good van sleeping spots for the night before. Pretty sure I stayed in a pub car park or a car park near a pub last time… is that still a thing? Any other suggestions?

The Star used to be the favoured spot but that's now closed. Some will likely be in the Wynnstay Arms in Llanbrynmair which has a car park directly opposite. If you want something more scenic, the car park / viewing spot which overlooks the reservoir on the road between Llanbrynmair and Llanidloes is a favourite for vans.

There's another carpark just down the hill at the dam that's usually empty.
