what time is it gong on stu .need to schedule a tea break
Likely before 10am or around ... although 2 bites of the cherry this year.
Strange that. I'm just back from the PYO cherry farm. My favourite fruit. Yum. I've just had 3 bites as it happens - greedy me.
BB200? Badges? Erm, I've still got my Tufty Club one. And my official Captain Scarlet SPV driver's licence (*). Maybe we need a BB yellow badge for those of us who can only just about manage BB20.0..... am in awe of you lot's feats as usual...
(*) they're still hidden all over the country after all these years you know. They are. Honestly. You just walk up - wayside garage, farmyard, wherever - flash your licence, say "Captain <whichever you are>, Spectrum Pursuit Vehicle 136 please (or whichever it is)", then the walls of a nearby building fall apart and an SPV magically appears which you then drive off, generally smashing through a nearby convenient fence or wall within the first few yards. Superb machines. Presumably when it's returned to the same place someone has to rebuild all the walls round it. Seems a lot of faff for a hiding place.

I'm giving the 300 a go for the first time. As per previous posts I'm expecting a "punishment year".
Hold on... you've actually never entered a 300. For the benefits of our audience (Reg) can you tell us all why!?
Reg, you should definitely enter and we definitely know you're not a bb20.0 kinda person. Yellow badge does sound like a rather nice idea... like for those that wanna take all their setup and get back when everythings already closed (I'd have earned one already).
Thanks again Stu for the heads up before tickets went out. Glad the Oct is now all sold though as for a moment it seemed like they weren't being valued as much as ard-rock Enduro (not for me, I only hesrd that tickets sold out quickly - maybe they should try 2 events too).
Stu, have you kept a spot back for Steve Large? I suspect he won't have thought about the BB.
Thanks for the thought Bob. I got in at the last minute.... just need to make sure my head and body are back in shape. Might go for an easier time this year.

Aye right!
Figured that if I'm going to traipse all the way down there I should get my moneys worth. Just need to decide how much time to take off work...
As it's ages away I will now forget about it until the route comes out the week before
Thanks very much slarge, you b********!
Due to your awesomeness on the TD, I felt emboldened to enter the bb November edition.
That was after 2 beers last night though.
Was having breakfast this morning when I remembered my idea.
Dang! It was still a good idea.
I'm trembling slightly at the prospect. It's probably excitement. Yes, let's go with that.. I'm excited about doing my first bikepacking race in November. Hate being hot anyway.
I do say race in inverted commas. I've quit actual racing because it all felt rather pointless. I want to try a few bikepacking events where I ride with purpose. Normally I bimble about and faff a lot but sometimes I love the feeling of the focus that comes with trucking along like a two wheeled Terminator.
