Not sure if I am allowed to post this as a new topic. Sorry if i'm in the wrong.
Just wanted to let you know we had a great event on the weekend in Wales. www.abikerace.co.uk
After having the initial idea mid last year I launched the site and socials in August / September 2021, and from then the entries slowly came in week on week.
22 riders turned out on the start line last week to ride around the coast of Wales, some completed it in less than 2 days!! MAD!!
The website with the live tracking of riders had over 10,000 hits over the weekend from all over the world. As for social media.. Over 5,000 profile views and a few hundred new followers.
I was so proud of every single rider that took part. I can't wait to put the 2023 together, we're going bigger and better!
Thank you to the sponsors for their support, all the dot watchers that came out to support the riders and to the riders again. Conti Tyres Tailfin komoot Muc-Off Anthony Motors Ltd

Interesting that you chose to ignore all of the free advice from others with far more experience of organising events in the other discussion thread, by advocating people race over road, gravel, dirt etc ( BW by any other name) and hence illegal.

It's ok, you can just claim you weren't there. And that if you were, you didn't know that it was a race. Or that it was a work race. And then finally apologise. And then... drop it will you, don't you know there's a war on?
