I've attempted twice and scratched both times but gping back through my write-ups I can see how beautiful it was and I wanna havw another go. I believe Ian made the Loop to be started from anywhere so the groupstart doesn't neccessarily need to start from one place but we could start at the same time
Anyone in? If so we can set a date. If not then I suppose it'll just be myself. Some more info about times can be found here -https://www.selfsupporteduk.net/peakitt - but I believe theres alot more completions than are reported and from speaking to Karl I think he holds the fastest unofficial time (just saying).

This was my last attempt and as you can see it's absolutely stunning. Even in pictures (though some of them are of Kinder Scout which I walked across 'mid-scratch'.
I am in - very much dependent on date and time commitments - but i should have a spare weekend in june - will work out which one after work
I am assuming 2 days riding then ?

I think the fastest time is around the 14 hour mark. So yes, 2 days roughly for us normal folk I'll probably be riding for as long as poss on the first day and then having a good sleep in prep for the next. Two failed attempts, I'm hoping I'll get round at least 80% this time before chucking out my dummy...

I am sure shaf will appreciate watching you ride away from the start*

What is this failure you talk of ?
* i am not keeping up with you either
Lol... did I say 'failure'... no, no... I meant chucking out the dummy. Every attempt is always a good steeping stone and learning curve. If I'd not tried the Peaks ITT then I probably would have given up on the bb200 each time Jon. Can't wait

Any takers for Jubilee weekend?
Have you asked 'Queeny' how she'd feel about that. Hates mountain bikes (not sure about bikers) according to Oli (some sort of world champ) when he went to the palace. Apparently they scared her horse this one time

I am out then as doing a lejog - might do this loop 21/22 of this month
Jon... will the weekend of the 25th of June work for you? I'm in the process of transcribing the route straight ibto Strava so it runs along the tracks/BW more 'fittingly'. Let me know if anyone wants me to share that link...
weekend before is much easier as I have kids the weekend you suggest
That said i am also toying with 21/22 of this month but currently down with man flu so depends how quickly i get over that as jenn ride preparation

I might try and dig out the article at some point and link it here (not from any tripe-talking MBR or the likes )
