WRT Trial ride with kit
Going for an overnight ride and camp with the bike fully kitted up in prep for the WRT in a couple of weeks time, time is flying by but looking forward to this little trial.

Re: WRT Trial ride with kit
What a stunning night for doing this trial, kit was superb and the bike was truly in its element cycling to the USK reservoir, now its setup for bike-packing. The Pirelli Cinturato Gravel M tyres 700x45c are magnificent on all terrain, providing superb grip and cushioning once loaded.
I haven't been wild camping for a while and it never ceases to amaze me how efficient the Trangia stoves are. Whilst setting up the hammock the kettle was already boiling for an evening brew, porridge cooked a treat in the morning.
Very happy with the setup and looking forward to the WRT even more now.
Also got to give the MSR filters a shout out, these are really good and certainly made a difference without dis-tasting the water, i saw some reviews with people claiming it was hard to fill bottles from, I totally disagree, these are really easy and with about 10 squeezes my Trangia kettle was ready to go, very good and seems to work really well, I highly recommend as they take up very little space and one unit does it all.
