Carrying a fatbike
I’ve got a Thule tow bar mounted bike carrier. Today, one of the wheel holders gave up the ghost and the front wheel was left hanging precariously on the strap. I need to replace it obviously, but while I’m at it I thought it would be a good idea to get a replacement that would take a fatbike wheel. I can’t seem to find one, so, is there another way to carry fatbike?

I just tie my wheels to the rack with a couple of Voile-alike straps.

Thanks for the replies, chaps. Mine is an old type of carrier, with the wheel trays sliding on to a box-section sloping bar that’d make it hard to fix a piece of gutter to. Hang on though - I’ve got some pieces of flat bottomed guttering left over from when I did the shed. Drill some slots and jubilee clip it to the bars, then the Thule straps to hold the wheels in place. Result! And best of all - free.
