Well Global Fat Bike Day has been and passed for its 10th year last weekend. As per the norm, I tend to make the weekend of it. In previous years its been in a tent on a great baech on Anglesey, but for the last couple its been a great private bothy.
So after last years solo effort, it was good to have some company in the way of John Climber, Sam Walsh, Allen Boardman and an old skool mate Paul.
The weather was typical December, wind, wind with a few showers thrown in for good measure. Somehow Snowdonia missed the snow which Storm Arwen brought to parts of the north
Once we arrived at the cottage we dumped our kit and made our way up the valley to the 1940 Bristol Blenhiem crash site.

Nice one Jeff, looks like a good weekend out.
I've seen that bothy and those ruins when walking down the other side of the valley and they're on my list of places to check out.
Cheers, Michael.
