Our place is about the same latitude as Mallorca, January is usually quite mild but it can turn cold again in Feb and March. Most years we've seen temperatures in the early 20's and sunny but this year things were a bit different.

Took us 3 days to dig ourselves out and clear the trees that had collapsed under the weight.

Mallorca had freak snow and a tornado a few days ago, the weather can be unpredictable but this is unheard of.

Almost guaranteed I'd have thought, but even if it does happen I'll still be glad to be out of this shithole for a week.

Just booked Mallorca for a week in January. Should be nice to get away from the misery of the UK, even if it's just for a short time.

Why were they cancelled rich?
We've just come back from a week in Portugal where they've got really low rates compared to the uk.
Accommodation was peanuts for the size apartment we had and I took my gravel bike to go out and play.
We were booked to go to Lanzarote but Spain wouldn't allow the kids into the country so we had to change.

I'm on a ferry to Ireland in the morning then booked on a boat from Roslare to Bilbao in 2 weeks time. I can't wait.

Not sure, they cancelled everything up to three weeks away.
