Diddy Alpkit stove. No word of a lie, I thought they'd forgotten to pack it, it's incredibly small. After being a bit dubious about them I'm rather impressed. Will be interesting to see how well it works.
Did I mention how small it is

I also received a diddy alpkit stove along with some other goodies. As I type this I'm sat under a rig7 tarp set up across 2 sofas, the stove is on the table boiling up enough water for a brew and I'm seeing how much stuff I can fit in a possum top tube bag.

We've all been there Dave. Last week I was in a bivvy bag in my lounge seeing whether my quilt lofts better in a rab storm or a hunka XL.Davesmate wrote:I also received a diddy alpkit stove along with some other goodies. Re: The post man's been ...
A fair wee pile of Alpkit stuff, which they nicely packed inside the Koala bag so it seemed like they forgotten half of it
Oh and a wee meths stove :)

Set of Deore disc brakes for my Fatty. I finally grew weary of having to bleed the Avid Elixir 1's every 3 or 4 rides.
I'm just going outside ...

Mountain king 29 x 2.4 tyre for the front as I've had a couple of recent front wipe outs running Rocket Rons...

New stove that can burn meths or solid fuel tabs. Having had one too many pots of noodles spill due to wobbly stoves, this little fella with legs that push into soil works very well. The whole system including two ti cups, spoon, stove and lighters collapses into the mytimug.

I've got a triad too. Great little stove, though it doesn't get much use now since I switched to Stu's stove creations.

UQ (mine) and TQ (Flatfishy's) from Enlightened Equipment in the States.
Customs took from 17 December to 01 January to process it but as they didn't clobber me I am happy with the timescale
Like the look of the rigging system and optimistic about the temps the UQ could work in (40 farenheit with 1oz of overstuff).

2 x Race King 29 x 2.0 for £25 the pair off ebay (new from Andover bikes).
Should help to get the miles in for the Wildcat 100 and a little Sustrans/YHA trip I've got planned In a couple of weeks.

A pair of Fulcrum Racing 7 CX wheels for the Kite.
They're a bit heavy, but were fairly cheap in the sale from Merlin, and I can now swap from gears to SS on the Kite fairly easily. Running 1x8, 36:32-12.
Will find out in the morning how she rides...

That's almost the same as what I actually use on my Five. I have a granny but hardly ever use it. I would have thought it would have been higher but I guess it is CX which to be fair I don't know anything about. I'll end this stream of conscious here. :?Ian wrote:A pair of Fulcrum Racing 7 CX wheels for the Kite.
