Reminds me of the woman who set "The year" record doing laps of the park in Florida. Not for me either!

Re: I get bored riding a 10 mile loop more than a couple of times
I used to train in Regent's Park but on the outer loop, which passes the zoo, has a few traffic lights and lots of blinkered drivers to keep it interesting. It was always busy with solo riders and a few bunches going round, and because it's so flat, it was very good base training and we would regularly do 50-60km at 30kph average on it before cycling off to work.
100 miles on the inner circle is a different fettle of kish though, and fair play to him, especially as he averaged over 40kph for the four hours. Chapeau, eh?

Proof that cycling's a broad church and that it takes all sorts. Not for me though, in truth I'd rather nail my testicles to a table.
May the bridges you burn light your way
