P.s. Stuart, it seems that I somehow pressed 'pay after delivery' via paypal (didn't even know such a thing existed) and so it looks like it's not going to release payment for 14 days????? If this is a hassle then let me know and I'll look into doing something about it - sorry!
The paperwork just looks like the usual, no mention of 'pay after delivery' or anything unusual.
Hopefully we'll see you in Jan
I think the pay after delivery just means that Paypal "pay" straight away but don't debit the money from you for a fortnight. Gives you a chance to say "this never arrived" before you're out of pocket. I think the main reason seems to be from stopping me using my credit card to pay for stuff so minimising their charges.
I'm thinking about doing this SS - am I insane? I've got lots of experience riding SS but none with a loaded bike and I'm guessing there will be hills, bogs and boggy hills. My plan is to drop to 32:20 (29er) and man up. Is this sound plan or a recipe for misery?

Been called over to the French HQ on the Monday until the Thursday, so I've no chance of been allowed out the night before and getting home late all covered in $hite for the missus to clean up before my 7am flight the next day.
Plus WRT is on while we're away in Devon, so my excuse is in early.
BB200 is clear though.

I'll have to wait until tomorrow - Stu's broadcasts always get stuck in my "quarantine" email that the works IT department like to deliver the following day. Just hope they hand deliver it to me!
Quite looking forward to a couple of days of cold, wet, hard training - can't be any colder than last year though!
I am learning the tracks to avoid (there's a lot of trial and error going on though!)
