I was wondering if such a thing existed ;-) I pedalled on a beach once on my full susser, had to replace a lot of pivot point bearings and others on that afterwards!

I have to say, it's almost balmy at the moment ... 9.00am yesterday morning felt like dawn in June. Given where we'll (hopefully) be spending the night, wind could be the biggest factor, although I'm hoping that the spot I have in mind is fairly sheltered.
