I'll have a play with it when I get chance for a ride or two and let you know if its not what I'm after, tbh I was dithering due to me not getting on with previous garmins and that I've hardly ridden in years tbhstevenshand wrote: ↑Wed Jul 07, 2021 4:07 pmIf you change your mind, I'll take it off your hands.firestarter wrote: ↑Mon Jul 05, 2021 2:49 pm Mine is due tomorrow I paid 139 the deal ran out at midnight last night, I ordered it at 2330hrs after a whisky session lol less dithering when you are three sheets to the wind![]()

Chainreaction are flogging WTB Bridger 27.5 x 3 for a penny under £15, or just £12 for the OEM Version, though Im not sure what the difference is.

Columbia Outdry Nanolites are less than half price at the moment, I've fancied one for a while but didn't want to pay full price for one, they were reduced to £150 then had another 10% off at the weekend so I bought one, today they're even cheaper at £125
https://www.columbiasportswear.co.uk/p/ ... 386&pos=18
It turned up today, it's got the full bin liner look and looks quite smart in the very dark grey colour. I've been curious about the inside out thing for a while but didn't like the Shakedry prices, I actually had an Outdry Ex-Lightweight but it was huge and like a tent on me so it just hung in the wardrobe unloved until I sold it on. I'll probably use it more for hiking, another reason why I didn't fancy the durability of current Shakedry offerings, so I'll see how it goes.
Two side pockets, adjustable hood and subtle branding for a change
My medium (I'm around a 40" chest depending on the pie count) weighs 210g and packs down nicely, Columbia seem to have forgotten to mention weight for some reason.

Good find - finally going to give one a shot as my latest lightweight shell jacket has just failed...Shewie wrote: ↑Tue Jul 20, 2021 9:16 pm Columbia Outdry Nanolites are less than half price at the moment, I've fancied one for a while but didn't want to pay full price for one, they were reduced to £150 then had another 10% off at the weekend so I bought one, today they're even cheaper at £125

Sadly none of the outdry jackets in the sale have pitzips. Although hopefully they have longer arms these days
I do wish Columbia would do a guide to all the various iterations of the outdry jacket and what each version is for. It's so poorly marketed

Just took delivery of some Cliff bars from this place. Significantly cheaper than anywhere else I've tried and quick delivery. Use by date is mid Oct.

Re: Bargain Alert Thread
Finally joined the Exposure Joystick club today, after months, possibly years of thinking "I should buy a new light." A mk14 is £99 at Tredz and I used a £5 off code that popped up too. I think I'd actually bookmarked it there (actually at cyclereplublic, which seems to redirect to Tredz now - assume they're the same company/been taken over) from this thread ages ago when they were about £125. The mk15 is available now, so the discount isn't surprising, but still seems like a bargain to me.
Re: Bargain Alert Thread
Its a great wee light and I dont think you will be disappointed with it
I use mine as my helmet light - dont break or loose that as they are not cheap £25 iirc.

Re: Bargain Alert Thread
I tried the Axis Mk8 (1250 lumens) as a helmelt light and was totally underwhelmed with it - didnt' seem anywhere near as good as the 1300 moon light I'd been using prior to this. When my 1800 lumen bar light was on full beam, I couldn't even tell when when the Axis was switched on, never mind what mode it was on.
I'm tempted to try another incase the unit I had was faulty as my experience seems to be markedly different to other peoples.

Do not buy these tyres. I should have known better given my last experience with WTB tubeless tyres. They are tighter that a fish's bum and bloody heavy too. After an hour of wrestling sweating and swearing I got the front on with the bead up on one side. No amount of Airshot insistence would the thing to seat on the other side. So I took it off, which was as hard as getting it on, and added another layer of tape. Then repeated the installation. Same result. That was enough for me: they are in the bin and I will never buy tubeless WTB again. Now I await the delivery of some Vittoria Cannoli TNTs which according to t'internet are an easy fit. We shall see.

Mate I'll fish them out of the bin and they're yours for the price of post if you want 'em. I've got Halo Vapour rims and they are not playing nicely.firestarter wrote: ↑Sun Jul 25, 2021 2:44 pm Where as I put one on a wtb rim went on easy, and seated with a track pump

Super cheap (£66.50) outdry jackets, no pit zips, but the model with the venting on the back. Not bought one myself, but maybe useful to somebody else
Edit: also, unfortunately only in white
