Already emailed Stu , as I’m out too , remember me joking about my blood pressure when we were over Cannock Steve? We’ll had my check 190/120 , panicked look on nurses face grabs the doc , next thing all my meds have been changed but I get seriously dizzy at points through the day now plus I’m p1ssing like a race hos all the time and NO strenuous exercise until it’s back down and I can loose a couple of the tablets , see taking the p1ss even out of myself still comes back and bites me in the backside
Suggest anyone camping meets at the joiners arms.
There are seemingly benches outside, and does food.
There is also a spar down the road. Wouldn’t be a boner ride without a Spar.

Yet another outing I'll have to bail on due to crap things (work) getting in the way and that are out of my control. Any one else done with sh*t getting in the way of fun. Don't know what I did in a previous existence, all I know is that it was bad...no custard creams at the supermarket bad (Note: this might of been the straw that broke the camels back)
On another note, reading the "giving up booze" thread is making me feel slightly relieved that the weekend may not involve a compulsory "great booze up" and wall to wall vomiting...
I gave the bike the once over at the weekend and swapped the ratio to my 'Wales' set (34/20) ready. I rode it to work this morning and can advise that ratio makes my flat cruising speed about 13 mph so I hope no one is in a rush

No chance I'll be able to get down there for a saturday morning start I'm afaraid so I'm also out. Have a great ride all.
I haven't forgotten we were meant to get out for a ride by now.... the bathroom is taking longer than I'd thought it would. My prediction earlier in this thread that we'd have a flushing toilet by now* was also a bit optimistic
* I've put off fitting the new cistern until I've finished decorating the wall. Jane has got used to the orange bucket we fill in the Kitchen as the flush. This is the luxury option, on the days when I remove the pan to work on the pipework under the floor the bucket goes in the shed for to be used for..... well I'm sure you can work it out
