Re: Cannock area 19/6
Thanks everyone for a top night out. Great to meet you Paul, Mart, Burty and Mrs Burty. I can't remember the last time I laughed so hard for so long. And the knowledge you lot have of you "local" trails - amazing. I tend to jut blunder along follow the smell of BBQ.
Paul thanks for the navigation to and from, especially for the route back to yours this morning. Great stuff.
Highlight of course was Steve's ingenious fix for his bent hanger.
"I need a quick release," he muttered several times. No takers for a bit till Paul remembers he had QR on the back end. Steve lurches forward and somehow attaches Paul's wheel to his hanger and gives it some welly. We were all waiting for Paul's wheel to go all pretzel like, but it bloody did the trick, Great trail bodge there fella.

Great night out despite first breaking a Hope caliper Then bending my hanger by bouncing off a tree, was topped off by my mat de-laminating and sleeping on the boards, quality entertainment
Thanks to all the locals for the guided tour

It felt really good to get out again and stretch the legs Thanks all.
Reg, BDS did take a single picture as we were on the way back to mine so he may post it. My phone only came out of my pocket twice on the trip, it was great.
