Looks like Chris S is almost on the home straight now & should finish this afternoon
Good for Chris - I spoke to him on Monday morning and he'd had a bit of a wet bivvy so I'm glad he got dried out.
Worth keeping an eye on Ruth Crewe's progress - she is on a gravel bike!

Yep and it seems mostly to have slipped under the radar, surprisingly. Last minute decision, apparently she's only had it for a fortnight! Must have been hard work through Fisherfield and Torridon but should be quick on the home straight.

The last section on the WHW is like riding on cobbles! It was so bad on a rigid MTB with 2.3 tyres I've now got a full sus for the next time I do it

It looks like Liam has stretched his chain a bit (not surprising really...)

She told me it was much lighter than her mtb so would be easy to carry....
Chris just finished

Dawn's been touring down to Tyndrum on her gravel bike as well (after drying out and swapping bikes back home).
Dave Murray of the strathspey contingent nearly there...

And then there were three...
Looks like it's only Trep, Mart and Johnny left out there now, they've craftily stayed out long enough to get the best weather

Hopefully they'll all finish today. Difficult to say where Trep is due to her tracking issues but I think she's ahead of Mart and he's nearly at Fort A so Trep should be between there and Tyndrum.

Trep's last ping was about an hour ago, a little north of the A887.

Ruth had 2 punctures in the first 30 miles or so which was very benign terrain. She hopefully fared better since then.

Journeyman is finished, and Trep and Martin aren’t far away. Brilliant riding this year!

Aye, apparently she then pumped her tyres up harder and had no more probs.
Congrats by the way that was an excellent ride Steve!

I'm a bit disappointed that the dotwatcher site already has a post-race wrap up. Seems a bit disrespectful to those still taking part, who deserve our admiration just as much (if not more) as those only spending 3 days on the course.
