WTD: 12spd Shimano Microspline Cassette Lockring
Possibly a long shot, but if anyone has one of these kicking around I’d be very grateful. They appear to be out of stock everywhere.
For a 12spd SLX cassette but I believe the XT or Deore ones are the same.
It would seem that whoever built my bike in the first place cross threaded this and it is now useless...

for either 11 ir 12 and £4
I assume -though i am not certain - and lockring will work- i used an 9 speed one on a 11 speed casette without issue

Thanks for those. The one I’m after is slightly different, possibly it’s microspline specific.Mactheknife68 wrote: ↑Tue Mar 30, 2021 10:45 am https://m.bikester.co.uk/kcnc-shimano-c ... 54536.html

Photos below, it has a different thread and length and diameter. (The black one is the one I’m looking to replace).

My understanding is that you can use a standard lockring tool but the lockring itself is different for microspline.

That’s the badger. But at €19 plus €12 delivery plus £12 Brexit tax, I’m thinking it’d be better to just buy a new cassette in the UK.Mactheknife68 wrote: ↑Tue Mar 30, 2021 1:13 pm This

Was hoping someone who has replaced their cassette recently might have a lockring kicking around.

Just went through the order process it comes to £25.39 delivered. Cheaper than a cassette

Indeed, but I’ll probably use it at some point. So it would save approx £25, maybe...
