I've been lurking for a while with the odd post to mine for advice and have been impressed with what gets listened to. Notable but surprising (only because no one I know listens to them except me) highlights have been Spacemen 3 and also Hypnotic Brass Ensemble, so I'd like to post a couple.
I think the only reason I don't listen to Spiritualized more these days is that I don't have the time to be still and do nothing but listen. They're a band to listen to with headphones on whilst having a bit of quality thinking time.
Just finished listening to 'The slide song' with my headphones on - sooooo good!
Just brilliant that. I think this was my 1st listen Spiritualized and blew me away at the time. 'Ladies and Gentlemen....; gets a lot of (justified) praise but Pure Phase is a great album. All Of My Tears just kills.
I split my unopened 'Ladies and Gentlemen...' pill pack CD for a Mate to use for his wedding song. They're now divorced. I'll never forgive them.

An early Rage Against The Machine gig on YouTube,
Loud, brash and heartfelt. Loving it
Saw them at the Barrowlands (Glasgow) in the early nineties and they were exceptional, possibly the best and definitely the most intense gig I've ever been to. I was disappointed to note that Zach was smiling on one of their more recent live videos that I watched, it just seemed wrong somehow (I acknowledge that it may not be possible to remain an angry young man indefinitely though!)
I stuck a long post up on here about gigs I'd been to and different albums that were good in different ways etc. Somehow lost it. Anyway just catching up with old posts:

I love Fugazi (and Minor Threat). One of the best gigs I’ve ever been to was Fugazi in Wolverhampton’s Wulfrun Hall
After binging on Narcos & Narcos Mexico Netflix was adamant that it should serve up nothing but drug crime related programming so in order to break the malgorithm I sought out something totally different and decided on Hip-Hop evolution.
It's brilliant so I have been revisiting RUN-DMC, Eric B & Rakim and MC Eiht.
