Show me your handle bar cradle
Show me your handlebar cradle ,looking at the salsa one but don’t want to spend £130 ,normally strap my bag to bars but noticed on my last trip it was fouling to much with my cables

4 cableties and 4 bits of gaffertape. Performed faultlessly for two years now. Cost about 5p and weighs around 13g.

Made this last year, slightly impressed with solid load carrying not effecting handling..

Heh heh, well I think we have two ends of the scale for you to choose from there
. Come to think of it mine actually is a cradle rather than a harness.

How big a bag do you want to strap on? If you were looking at the Salsa one have you considered the Gfunk bar clamps with a strap deck? Considerably cheaper than the Salsa option.

I’m using Alpkit Confucius bars so my bar bag is well away from the cables

My harness in used AK Airlock 20l (?) bag. No flex, swap done seem to affect handling..

If I made, again I'd select lighter materials. But as, a concept its great. Such as lining in 2 oz nylon & add oxford /codura strips not through out...
