Some carbon 20/20 alt bars, pined after some of these for years. Tried them on the SS in the local slop & they feel much better than the Stooge Moto i took off. Only prob is that i've had to buy Exposure & Garmin stem mounts due to their shape!

I've received a sealskin balaclava. It is shaped more like a hood., you can easily pull it back. I, ll look at, adding a malleable nose piece, else my spec ied will fog up.
Yesterday from planet zipped 'bottle age ' tool case, sports spec &+ prescriptive insert and a
rear light (with indicators, & bar remote fob).
Also from Merlin, a Vittoria 29x2.0 as a rear tyre saguaro TNT tubless. Its been a bugger to seat& inflate. See what have you done today...

Some new trainers. Rather annoyingly I had to pay full price for them (first time ever) as it seem the whole of the uk took up running when they weren't allowed to go shopping, so there seemed to be no end of season bargains.
I've been putting it off due to the cost but on Monday's run I could see my socks through the holes in my current pair so couldn't delay any longer

My last pair got to 13 yrs and the soles were going brittle, a first!

May be the world also took up online shopping as well 'running'.
Next time come back a size 6 or 7 mens, they're always in the sale!

Being a 45 (or am I now a 10 since Jan) is an issue. They did last 950 miles so not bad. The hole wasn't the issue per se, it was the fact that it let stones in which would then wear a hole in my socks or feet

Re: The post man's been ...
The postman came with a pair of the Columbia Fairbanks Omni heat boots , I suffer from very cold feet so having seen these recommended by Ton, Colin ,and others I thought I would have one final attempt to keep the feet not necessarily warm but above the pain threshold . I put the plastic Nukeproof flats on the bike and went out this morning in minus temperatures bloody amazing usually I would have had to get off and walk a couple of times with the Shimano winter boots on to ease the pain in my feet . Thanks for the recommendation for me they are a game changer
Sizecwise the Shimano boots are 46 I bought 10.5 in the Columbia boots and pretty much the same fit I am 9.5 in normal shoes .
Love the bike Ton may you have many happy times together

Some Sapim spoke nipple washers that I hope will allow me to fix the one spoke on my carbon fat bike rim that has pulled through the rim.

My van had to get scrapped this year, so I joined an electric car club in my town. They have a Leaf which I have now driven a few times. Oh wow it is amazing! It pretty much drives itself - it's like sitting there watching a video of someone else driving a car! It does everything for you - puts the wipers on, dips main beam and all sorts of clever things. Just effortless and so quiet to drive. I love it.
