Hmm. About to be in T2 despite being in an area with one of lowest infection/population ratios. No overnight stays 'unless for work'? Whatever. For December BaM - and my Peaks plan is out the window now really as they're now T3 (from T1!)- does one do it now under 'lockdown'; mid-Dec in T2,; wait and see if our (or even the Peaks) tier changes for the better (hahaha!) on 16th Dec; or even wait for the 5-day ridiculousness. Quandary. Yawn.

Would Stu still accept that as my Nov BAM done

If it is the November one then crack on as you can currently, the tier structure doesn't start until December.

Who indeed? Well Reg for a start. One February I very nearly missed it. Forgot only 28 days. On last morning suddenly realised, slapped all the gear on the bike, and screamed round to the station. Consulted my ladyfriend Eileen in the office - suggest somewhere I can get to fast please. She chose Macclesfield.

Was there 2 hours later, stood on the platform and asked this lot, live on Here, where I should go next. Stu suggested I popped in on his mum but I really didn't want to risk giving the poor lady the shock of her life. Spotted some snow on the hills so headed that way with no plan.

After some fairly atrocious conditions, snow/ice/fog etc, I fetched up in a pub in the High Peak. Several beers later the landlady suggested I kipped in the village graveyard which I duly did (bivvied there twice since). Rode back to Macc next day through the blizzards and was home by the evening.

So, yes, it is possible to (almost) miss a month by mistake.

Outside of tier 3 you can travel for leisure and stay overnight with your household or alone.
Just not in other people’s houses or hotels.
You can social with up to 6 people outside.
Nothing wrong with a bivi.

I spoke with a chap today who was on his way to a bothy who was from Englandshire and with a strong accent of the 'Calm down calm down' type He did confirm this.
I asked him "where you of to mate (as it was getting on a bit)", and his reply was"I'm off to the bothy as it'll be quiet".
"Yeah, that's because all MBA bothies are closed and not to be used" I said.
"That's why it'll be quiet" was the reply.
...and then he went on to say how he was moved on (in his campervan) on Friday night in the Lakes by the feds.

Yes you’re correct.
I thought that the conversation was leaning towards the post Wednesday situation. Lots of people talking about December etc.
At present you can’t stay away overnight without proper reason eg. work. That’s pretty clear.
