New here : from Bristol
A Big YO to all! This covid lockdown is a drag - who knows what will be going on, for instance this year I was going to have a crack at Torino-Nice but in the meantime something more local would be a good crack. Are there any other Bristol & Bath area based riders here who want to get together for a weekend bivy raid?

Welcome to the odd world that is the BearBones forum!
Not from Bath but thought it would be nice to say hi!
TNR will be grand when it gets the green light again.

According to my missus anyone south of Durham services on the A1(M) is a southerner since that’s what the motorway sign says.

isn't that where a Mr D Cummings stopped to fill up his tank? Dunno whether he's northern or southern. Possibly just 'alien'. And who, of course, like a crazed Frank'n'Furter has now beamed back up to the planet Transexual in the galaxy of Transylvania just in time to evade, like Frank, the giant mess he's left here back on planet Earth.PaulB2 wrote: Durham services

Apparently his kind is partial to stuffed pandas - You can gain fame and fortune by luring him back for some redress.RIP wrote: ↑Fri Nov 13, 2020 9:01 amisn't that where a Mr D Cummings stopped to fill up his tank? Waves at Wurzel (welcome) and Supernova (small world)

We go out into the hills to lose ourselves, not to get lost. You are only lost if you need to be somewhere else and if you really need to be somewhere else then you're probably in the wrong place to begin with.
