Midweek RIVINGTON Bivi August 7th or 8th

I'm getting into these mid week #MicroAdventures and on the 7th or 8th August (weather depending) I'm heading up to RIVINGTON with a mate for a 5pm to 9am bivi ride.
Please note the original idea was Gisburn, but to save time driving, we'll be riding from home in the North West.

Thursday 8th is looking like the chosen day now.

Finish work, ride, eat, bivi, get up, get to the office (I work from home) for 9am and start work with a smile on your face for the whole day.

Let me know if you're interested in a light weight, bivi on the tops after eating at a pub on route to the bivi.

Hi, I'd be up for this if Wed 7th happens to work out. Giving blood on Thu so will only be able to drink high quality ale.

I'm an hour away and will work from home too. Do you bivy in the Partirdge or is it another pub you are talking about?

Just come back from a bivy above Scar House Reservoir. Top night. Wish I'd been more organised and put it up as an option for others.

Bad news, we think it's going to be on Thursday, plus as only 2 of us from the North West have signed up we are going to ride from home and head towards Rivington instead of Gisburn.
