Neoair v Exped
I've finally come to the conclusion that my TAR Neoair just isn't particularly comfy for me as I like to sleep on my side. Does anyone have any experience of the Exped range, and are they more comfy than the Neoairs?

Yep, I've got both (Synmat UL7 and Downmat-lite). Both are 'small' which is actually quite long compared to a Neoair small. As a side sleeper they really are comfy.Does that include both the down and synmat versions?

Mat pressure is all important for neoair's. I sleep on my side also, and its easy to blow the mat up more than you need to.
I've not tried an exped mat yet, but do fancy one for colder weather conditions.

Does that also apply to this one: http://www.facewest.co.uk/Exped-Downmat-Lite-5.htmlYep, I've got both (Synmat UL7 and Downmat-lite). Both are 'small' which is actually quite long compared to a Neoair small. As a side sleeper they really are comfy.
It's a fraction of the cost of the other downmats?

It does ... it's the same down mat as I've got. They're cheaper because the down is a lower fill power, they do however come with a pump which is a real bonusDoes that also apply to this one: http://www.facewest.co.uk/Exped-Downmat-Lite-5.html

I much prefer the Exped to the Neoair.
