A collective noun
There’s an article in the guardian today about the Rough Stuff Fellowship- arguably an ethos many of us subscribe to and live by when we escape on two wheels.
It got me thinking (prompted by some recent posts) we get great enjoyment being individuals and part of collective, where shared experience, a bit of challenge, humour and suffering does good things for the soul.
Maybe we have strong caveman/women lineages? Maybe we are just one dispersed tribe going feral at weekends?
So what collective nouns, descriptions would you come up with to describe a bikepacker/s ? Here’s a starter
A Wiff - bikepackers on a multi day trip
Wayward- an anarchic bikepacker

A "reality" of bikepackers - BP-ers who are escaping to reality not away from it
. Well I do anyway.
From a non-BBB-ers point of view, we're probably an "asylum" of bikepackers.....

We go out into the hills to lose ourselves, not to get lost. You are only lost if you need to be somewhere else and if you really need to be somewhere else then you're probably in the wrong place to begin with.
Re: A collective noun
A kerfuffle of bikepackers.
Based loosely on my slightly disorganised approach to the activity.
