New Radnor area trail info wanted

Post by Mike »

Evening all, hopefully heading over to shropshire hills tomorrow for a night out got a rough 60 miles planned. From church stretton to clun then onto bucknell then back up n over long mynnd. Imagine its going to be hard though as there are some big hills out that way. Im after some info on the natural trails to be found all around New Radnor and south to the LLanbedr hills area. looking on the maps there are alot of byways. Does anyone know this area or have ridden over there as i fancy getting over with the bike very soon for a bivy and explore. I remember doing the son of tomac race down that way yrs ago, and the trails were good but cant remember the route. Any help would be appreciated on this guys :P

Bit of info here. Last post of that thread also has link to a trip report. I don't think I have a gpx of the route though, sorry.

I might be up for a bivvy with you depending on dates. How soon is "soon"?

Got stuff on for the first two weekends, then it's the Bear Bones weekend 20/21, so 27/28 is earliest for me I'm afraid :?
