My vote is for bivvy.
A harder choice might be what direction, personally I prefer clockwise.

My personal plan would be to bivi, just cos it'd be nice to do so. Be nice to all start together but I'm sure we don't all need to stay together the whole ride.

I'm kindof in the similar boat. Need to be up early on the 10th so dont wanna risk being out on the 9th or 8th all day. Gonna do a nice easy road ride on the 8th to Derby instead...-

I wanna comply aswell... so, wimp (well you did say to call you it).
On the first ever MTL (I remember it well) years ago - fuelled by samosas and and other unchoice foods from a van that somehow managed to deduce where we'd be every 10 miles or so - it got a little windy in them there hills. I concur that one wouldn't want to be out in them there moorlands when the yellow wind forecasts have been given :shock: ... I'm gonna call myself one too: wimp (to myself) :-bd

Am hoping to head out for this ride next weekend. Provisional date set as Sunday. Gonna try and depart early as poss from that there Watergrove Res... If anyone wants to join me (or if anyone wabts to join but needs a lift up) then just say... Happy to go at whatever pace is acceptable if we end up riding as a group (but equally as happy for everyone to just shoot off into the distance as most likely it'll be me the slowest denominator)...
