craft 1000miles race anyone doing it?

Post by skysurferboy »

Hi,

Is anyone on the forum doing or going to the Craft 1000 miles race in Czech/Slovakia?

www.1000miles.cz

I'd love to hear from you if you are.

Cheers,

Glenn

You can start as an VIP - payment is the same. Maybe I'll try to ride it next year couse finish is ca 250km south from my home.

Yeah I saw the startlist already. Mainly Czech Slovak and a handful of German Latvians and Spanish. That kind of puts an end to some of the plans I had in mind.

I was intending to film the race but other large events have cropped up that I might have to go to plus its a long way from Newcastle to the start ;) and with a lack of English/US entrants interest in my project is minimal.

It looks pretty well organised and the guy who runs the event has been quick to respond to my questions about the race.

Maybe next time or I ll have to find another event for when work stops being crazy.

Hi Paul,

Sorry can;t seem to PM for some reason. Maybe needs board admin authority or something.

I'm in South Shields, formerly of Jesmond . I've got the bikes and the bags and the camping gear just not the time at the minute for bikepacking. I'm always trying to get out on the bike ( bought a folding Dahon full sus for when I'm working away for long periods) but time is hard to come by.

Would love to get out and bivi at least a few times this summer.

1000miles race coverage might still be on. Just got to sort out some logistics.

Ah just the other side of the water to me.

Keep me updated on the race coverage as interested to see what the logistics of doing it are like.
