Sorry guys I had this box unopened for 3 days, 'cause reasons and sorta forgot I had posted the pic of the box.

Here is my new Ribble CGR Ti.
I have taken those cages off and put some others on but not got a new pic yet. Will get some better photos done once the new wheels have arrived and it's all set up how I would like it. I'll swapping the bar out this week hopefully.

... and wasn't best happy about bringing this. I needed a starter clutch / shaft from a late model ZR750 to replace the one in Dee's 650. Couldn't find a SH one anywhere and a pair new was jut shy of £500 but a complete engine was £240 delivered.

In lieu of an introduce yourself thread, I'm Bob. You may have bumped into me on such forums as the singletrack one, the fat bike one, the Nerf one, or possibly the high power rocketry one. Up until May, I rode a Calibre Dune and was looking to get into bike packing this year. Shame I cracked the frame, even more of a shame that Go Outdoors told me where to go, as I'd had the temerity to replace the seat post with a slightly longer one. So rather than bivying under the stars, I've been doing lots of outdoor swimming instead.

It's taken a while, and a fat rebate from the tax man, but a new bike is finally on the horizon, with this lot arriving with in the last couple of weeks. I'm building a gravel bike, based on a NS Bikes RAG+ frameset:

The groupset finally arrived this morning, which saw me dancing around the kitchen, right up until the point I realised that I'd ordered the wrong length of cranks... So they're going back and it'll be another week or so before I can finish building it.

I'm hoping that in the new year, when I may have some liquidity again, that I'll be able to buy the odds and ends that I require. Things like a lightweight mat, sleeping bag and stove, so I can get out and and have some adventures.

Ooh 900SS, very nice. The only bike that lives her at present is Dee's Z650 but I plan to rescue my Venom and AJS model 20 from my mums over winter. There's a couple of other projects floating about but some will take years to happen so they don't really count as bikes.

Must admit, I was very surprised when the ZR engine arrived fully clothed in starter, ignition, alternator, carb rubbers and all engine cases. Certainly not the usual breakers fare.

Thule child carrier came through last week, looking forward to more family adventures. Some terrain just isn't suitable for a buggy and a front carrier is a back killer after a while!

Also had some sit mats turn up for the kids, I love a sit mat, time the kids had their own. Simple folding CCF jobs but so useful. I take mine on nearly all my bivis. CCF one is better than my self inflating one and other designs
