Re: front rack bags?
I have a Ortlieb Trunk Bag that's had very little use. They're bloody expensive when new, but I got mine at a discount.

There's a plastic plate you fit to your rack, then the Trunk Bag locks into that.
Usual Ortlieb quality. Ti-Zip makes it waterproof. There's a carrying strap too (assuming I can dig it out).
If you're interested, I'd sell it for £45.

Lomo make a fully waterproof one. Very sturdy and not expensive.

I thought the same as Stu:

They even show it on the front (despite the "tail bag" name).

Ah yes. I was imagining something with a bit more structure that could be padded/lined for the camera.

Indeed, a fair point. I'm not advocating one over the other, just pointing out potential options (well, repeating Stu TBHScotRoutes wrote: ↑Tue Aug 20, 2019 9:35 am Ah yes. I was imagining something with a bit more structure that could be padded/lined for the camera.

Camera bag of choice fitted with a rixen kaul adapter plate and a RK handle bar mount? An added bonus would be some degree of isolation from impact

Ok thanks, I'll show my wife (its for her camera kit) and see what she thinks.ScotRoutes wrote: ↑Mon Aug 19, 2019 11:57 pm I have a Ortlieb Trunk Bag that's had very little use. They're bloody expensive when new, but I got mine at a discount.
