Quilts and bivi bags

How do you find a quilt inside a bivibag?

Do you get all tangled up?

Cold spots?

I normally use the mat outside the bag, would this be a problem or is it better inside the bivi?

I sleep with the mat inside the bivvy. Throw the mat in, then throw the quilt in, climb inside, remembering to push my feet into the footbox then just slide down. I've never felt tangled up inside but a roomy bivvy bag will be an advantage.

As for cold spots, I've never had any trouble.
