Oh, bit of one-upweathership - massive thunderstorms in Norfolk too. Possibly an interesting time to be riding a steel bike. Actually that's wrong isn't it - alu and carbon are much worse so I'm glad I'm so old-fashioned.

Mid 30's all last week, no rain for 3 weeks. Forecast is for temps to drop to late 20's next week but still no rain on the horizon. Quite windy though which makes it feel fresher.

Rubbish on this side of the hills as well today Dave. Got soaked on my ride out into the Peak this morning.

Dry this morning then chucked it down for the middle part of the day before drying up later this afternoon in time for me to get out for a spin on the road for a bit. Factoid: I was in Sheringham in Norfolk this weekend, which holds the world record for Morris dancing - 369 dancers at once. Took place at the possibly well-named Potty Festival in 2018. Just your type of holiday destination I reckon Mariner!
