Winner? Thought it wasn't a race, rather a group start ITT? ; )
Interested to see how close to 'first finisher' James Hayden will get. A roadie-TTer in at the MTB deep end in the HT550 has my respect and support. A fiver on him then

Re: 550 Sweepstake
Karl has been training in a cow free environment/season.

You folks on here should stay up to date...
Also, didn't Stu release a lion to protect HT riders?
Anyhow, I don't like bets but Jenny! She'll win. I'll put a fiver in for her. Win by spreading fun, happines, win by singing badly... and she'll get around fast I'm sure. Unless... well, the river will surely be down
Another fiver for Karl. He'll win our hearts.
Hoping they all achieve what they've not planned to achieve

Thanks for the misguided vote of confidence
And I look forward to Steve pulling me around...or the cow. Or more likely I'll be running away from cows very quickly all the way to the finish...maybe

Re: 550 Sweepstake
I'm not a betting person (religious reasons) so.. Nor do I understand what's a sweepstake
But if I was to say a name I'm thinking (after days of thought and going through the previous few ITTs) this year is Seans (the sheep)

Cheers for the vote of confidence but as you'll have seen by my scratch on Sunday my event didn't go as well as I'd hope forredefined_cycles wrote: ↑Sat May 25, 2019 6:40 pm

I'll do a proper write up when I'm at a computer and not just on my phone. Just got on the ferry after an 11 and a half hour drive back from Tyndrum. Scotland is great but why did they put it so far away
