Bristol Bespoke Bike Show
Anybody go today?
I overheard three conversations that started with, "Do you know Stuart of Bear Bones .....?" Two of them were by the dmo bike although I am not sure if that is significant. There's a legend being built :D

Beth and I went on Friday night and Saturday. Got some photos to upload this evening. It was a great show, really enjoyed it. Didn't spend anything at the show, but there were two bike in particular that I could easily part with my money for.

Re: Bristol Bespoke Bike Show
The two I liked were the Donhou JPS road bike and the Slate Quarryman CX.
But, Olly's DMO looked ace with all the bags on (and off, too). It got lots of interest. Ryan and Nik at Oak Cycles also won Best Touring Bike, which we were all very chuffed about :D

I really liked the Oak until I saw the rear tyre clearance.
Olly's was nice too, even with his cycling proficiency badge on his bag.

I'm really glad some of you guys made it to the show, I was really overwhelmed with the amount of interest my bike got - and I got through a serious amount of wildcat business cards too!
Now to begin the next project. ...........

Re: Bristol Bespoke Bike Show
I enjoyed the show although it was mostly road bikes and little mtb stuff. Some nice stuff on the Shand stand and I spoke to Olly as well. Bumped into Ian & Beth and before leaving an ex colleague who had just ordered a Swallow bike who was trying to decide between 931 and 953.
I might have been tempted by a Donhue frame but they have a one year wait on delivery which they thought hoped?) would go up after the show.
I think this is the third year of BB and it was good to see so many people there. Shows that it is not just carbon framed Trek/Giant/Specialized to be bought. Nothing wrong with those three but good to see craftsman flourishing.
Perhaps Stuart can show his 8gm stove next year. Could certainly help reduce the LMNH's queue for a brew!

Nice find Flatfishy.

Nobby, (edit after post below - RoyAB) I have one of those posts spare, an older model. New postage rates may make it near worthless s/h but I'm not after much for it if it's of use to you. MIP.

Forgot to add that one of the highlights of the show for me was chatting with Paul from Paul Conponents. Top bloke and top gear too.
