I can't see a mug on that ^ ... quite disappointed.
May the bridges you burn light your way

How are you finding the riser drop bars? I was contemplating the genetic versions (genetic driser 16?) to raise the front end a bit.Asposium wrote:Finished!!!
Should do very nicely for BB events, Norway, and New Zealand

The flask lid is probably a mug, just not of the dangling variety.Bearbonesnorm wrote:I can't see a mug on that ^ ... quite disappointed.

Uhm but no no handle so no dangle. I can't help but feel that standards amongst the hipster community are begining to slip somewhat ... I mean, there's no axe eitherThe flask lid is probably a mug, just not of the dangling variety.

They're okay.PaulB2 wrote:How are you finding the riser drop bars? I was contemplating the genetic versions (genetic driser 16?) to raise the front end a bit.Asposium wrote:Finished!!!

Reduce the flat area of the bar, that might be wanted for lights /computer mounting
Use a bag cradle, so wasn't an issue
Did consider swapping to other bars; however, wanted to keep the bars, saddle the same as the other sequoia

With such authenticity on show these days it's hard (and expensive) to keep up...!Bearbonesnorm wrote:Uhm but no no handle so no dangle. I think that the Ritchey Swiss Cross is the only thing that could tempt me away from this bad boy:

Going on 10 years old and still looks brand new under all the dirt! #amazonsrule

Yeah. Still loving my Amazon. Currently considering a hydro/11 speed upgrade for it.

Are they Van Nicholas Amazons? or a different kind of Amazon?

Updated mine to 11 speed Di2 a few years back and it's been just the ticket. I stuck with the BB7s as I like the simplicity though.

I eventually replaced the Kinesis forks on mine. The looks of them always bothered me. I bought some Van Nicholas Carbon Touring forks instead. Looks much better

I know exactly what you mean! I've been humming and hawing over a set of Whisky No.9 forks which look like they'd be perfect. Do the Van Nic forks have as much clearance as the Kinesis?

Soon to be rebuilt as I put some Jones H bars on recently but it isn't as much fun as with the woodwhippers.
