Bit of cheeky one this I know, but I'm after some suggestions for a bivi spot in Hope, Edale, Derwent valley areas.
I would normally sus a suitable site out myself but I am meeting a friend who's walking and arranging a place to meet could be tricky.
Appreciate any locations you don't mind sharing which mean I don't have to go the campsite route.

How far you straying from the Derwent?
Is it a case of he's walking the Derwent and you're fitting in with him or vice versa?
I have a few ideas but they're more towards Kinder or the Goyt Valley.

Caves in Stannage Edge are fun, although can be over popular.
Alport Castles, Kinder Low, Win Hill all fav's but it depends on what you're looking for. Are you looking for tree cover? Views?
Btw, park up in built up areas. We had a chat with one of the friendly rangers a while ago and he had no problem with us bivvying, but parking up in tourist car parks overnight leads suspicion and often police checks as sadly the park is often abused.

Cheers all for suggestions so far.
Anthony, both would be good. Would like views but if forcast crapy an alternative would be good. I have done Stanage plantation before but where are the caves? We will be stopping over Monday night so hopefully shouldn't be too busy. I also had Win Hill in mind but thought it may lack cover so good to hear rangers don't mind.
Dan, we can make route up around Bivi spot. I am biking W to E comming from Rushup Edge and heading towards Chesterfield on day 2. My friend is catching the train from and planning his walk from there. Edale ideal area, Goyt valley bit out of the way.

Winhill has good tree cover if you drop down to the top of Parkin Clough (a great ascent to walk) There are plenty of scattered big rocks at the trigpoint but not a lot to gain shelter from iirc. Great views esp at night as the distant town lights come on.
The Stannage caves are into the edge. Not really visible from walking along the top, but the rock climbers frequent them. Robin Hood cave is marked on OS map but is a climb (think ropes) to get to. There is definitely one that we have slept in that you can walk down to off top. Unless you're looking for it, you would never stumble on it tho.

Second that if you don't know where they are will be hard to find, however, access is easier than that. I've spent a few nights in them, including a stag do, and there was never need for rock boots or gear. It's been a while though and I wonder whether you'd easily be able to get a bike there. The Stannage caves are into the edge. Stanage plantation and other car parks were always notorious for theft and vandalism to cars, during quiet periods as well as overnight. Mates even had their car pilfered and then torched after a night-time caving trip in Stoney Middleton. This was all many years ago so situation might have improved but I'd be cautious about where and what got left.
