A mixture of stuff both delivered and in-shop purchases.

• A new helmet. Current one is quite old and getting uncomfortable. New one (Lazer Revolution) has changeable side panels - the full ones make it a bit like a modern deerstalker with ear flaps! Also has a built-in light/camera mount.
• Light adapter for the above to work with a Joystick.
• A set of plastic flat pedals. Plastic to reduce heat transfer through the foot.
• A Revelate Designs Wampack - I'd been interested in one then Backcountry.scot suddenly dropped the price (new ones coming in?) so hit the buy button.
• A set of goggles. I was in Leeds and looking at ski goggles but fair play to the sales lass at Snow and Rock, when I described what I was looking for and how I'd use them she didn't recommend what they had and suggested I look elsewhere. Ended up in Evans where the lad remembered they'd a set of Oakleys. £35 rather than the £105 for the ski goggles at SnR!

It actually arrived yesterday but I only joined the forum last night. I have been sculking around for a month or so.

Just starting to build up my kit. I’m a larger lad and not very fit so just looking forward to getting out and enjoying some slow paced adventures.

I’m midlands based anyway.

Welcome, well done to giving in to the parcel madness from the off.
Top parcel tips include, ‘send as gift’ ( no shipping stuff to hide), click and collect and anything else discreet

Also ask before you buy, lots of us have been on long and expensive journeys littered with kit which either turns out unsuitable or we discover something better suited.
Still can’t beat parcel delivery

And delivered a bunch of parts for the inbred I bought from stu, it’s for my lad so it’s getting a little make over with orange ergon grips, orange DMR platforms,matching saddle and other orange accessories. Shorter cranks,stem and an orange hope narrow wide chainring on the way to adjust fit.

And brought me my shiny new Acepac top tube bag. 1.2 litre. Cos its made of recycled pet bottles (Cordura Eco) and came all the way from Germany (and czech before that where it was made) I will be uploading a review (mini and maxi consecutively) in the review (do we have one of them ) section shortly... for now:

And delivered a oneup components EDC pump,doesn’t sound very exciting but it’s clever. Hidden inside the pump handle is a multi tool, chain tool, tyre lever, split link tool and also a tubeless tyre plug tool. It’s a bit like a Russian doll for when it hits the fan. Seems extremely well made and cuts out a lot of faff, I’m always misplacing my tool

This plus a spare gear cable, tubilito tube and little bottle of stans jizz should see me through most things.
