After 2 weeks of the lurgy, the head wind just zapped me on Saturday and I felt as rough as I looked!!
I even had a Lemsip in the pub. Felt fine Sunday though

Thank you again! I had literally the most fun in the world. Going from one local little camp out to a bothie event was brilliant. I've got the time off for the next one already!

Did you point out the best way to cross the bog of doom to get to the footbridge in Hyddgen? I assume so otherwise there'd be the appropriate shot. Given the generally low level of the rivers I assume that the ford just after there wasn't as "interesting" as on the BB200.
I reckon I could have walked across either... unlike in October!
Yes I did as soon as I got home from the winter bivi, although this weekend was way too warm for them I had to try them out before the Welsh heatwave kicks in next week
As usual I didn’t take many photos but will add my description of the weekends going ons when I get 5
Lying in my hammock somewhere in the Model Famau Country Park. No photos because Flickr is being difficult! It's no loss - you've all seem enough pictures of my hammock already.
Started in Mold (Flintshire) and pedalled 32 miles @ 150ft/mile. 19 miles to do tomorrow to get back to the car.
Note to self - don't drink all the whiskey before getting into bed. I was stumbling around on the uneven ground and only avoided falling by a quick grab at the hammock.
Looking forward to February, the coldest month. Historically, the 16th is the coldest day of the year. It said so on the telly so it must be true.
Ah! My foot warmer pads are just kicking in. Mmmm.

Cheers Reg, Mam and everyone for a very enjoyable Saturday bimble - never knew it was possible to reach Mach in such a convoluted way!
Fine food in Mach and a return to the scout bivi too.
Hope you lot enjoyed your lie in / fry ups - I made it to the beardy lake and fantastic panorama trail via horrible climb and push out of happy valley from the car park.

I was shocked by the condition of the panorama trail - very badly eroded and damaged in places Having said that we bivvied alongside it and dropped down to Aberdovey in the sunshine for breakfast
We go out into the hills to lose ourselves, not to get lost. You are only lost if you need to be somewhere else and if you really need to be somewhere else then you're probably in the wrong place to begin with.
Incredible views. Not ridden it before but parts of it reminded me of the damage on the wayfarers track; it looked pretty hammered (There was a very interesting bog crossing!). I passed a load of trail bikes on the way down to the road - I’m guessing that’s why.
