Blimey you lot are worrying me... I haven't started packing yet, still trying to fix a leaky sleeping mat!

Much better to sling it all in at the last minute Mark anyway, main thing is a tenner for the pub

Re: Tomb Raider..... What's your best guess
Hmm, looks like my riding group has fallen apart due to sickness. I don't actually have my route planned, and I'd hate to miss another event (things haven't been going well for me on that front lately)...
So does anyone have a relatively easy route planned that I can join up with? I say relatively easy because since getting sick last year I've done no riding, and I'm still recovering from a cold, so I'm likely to be a bit sh*t.

I sketched out a route just now, 80km on Saturday and 40km on Sunday (need to be back at noon Sunday). Took in a few of Stu’s waypoints, but found some standing stones of my own that look worth a visit, so thanks for the inspiration
Other than getting a lift with Taylor, I’ve made no formal plans for riding with others, so happy to go with the flow if you want to come along, Rich. I’m well below par fitness-wise, so no beasting me up the hills

Cool. That could work. I'm staying at The Star but should be at the start before 9am.
...and I'm really not exaggerating on the fitness thing (for once!).

Don't worry ... I'll not be there until 9.00 either.

Oh, good... my lot were waffling about starting at 08:30.
See, all those early mornings are probably what made them sick.

Don't they read their emails? Please people, don't set off before you've signed on which means 9.05am at the earliest. Anyone found in possession of being a tw@t will be pointed at and may have their cake quota reducedmy lot were waffling about starting at 08:30.

What I might also do is hang around at the start to see if there are any reasonable size groups that might have me. Less chance of slowing down people when there are other fatties at the back with me!

All packed and nearly ready to go, can't decide to have a bit of a kip now and drive up early hours or drive up now and kip in the car enroute. To be honest my bed is feeling the better option, see y'all at 9!

Managed to get off the Island, which is an improvement on last year. Parked up and should be there for 9.05
