Thanks, didn't think it would be of much use to me as I don't have a Kindle :cry: had a look anyway and turns out there's a Kindle app for Android* so now I have it on my phone :smile:

* I assume that everyone but me already knew this :roll:

Why not just buy it - its only a tenner and at least John, the author, would gets something for his efforts

On the strength of the first few pages I've just ordered a copy of his first book, "The Last Hillwalker" so giving the bothy one away free has gained a sale he wouldn't have got otherwise.

Surely he'll get paid anyway? Doubt it'll be as much as a full purchase though. Think the free amazon books normally pay the author by the page so have a good flick through. Dunno what happens if you read it twice.
