Evening - long time forum stalker finally out of the shadows. I was trolling the website of Veloista the EU distributor for Revelate.

It's in German, which is all Greek to me, so I cut and paste what they had to say about the Revelate gas tanks into google translate, producing the following gem.
The gas tank ™ weighs just 110g. It is mounted on the frame bar which can be opened during driving with one hand. This makes it ideal as a storage container for a snack or a camera when a photo is to be shot quickly from the wheel of time.
I've never taken any photos from the wheel of time, but would love to see some suggestions.

Re: Photos from the wheel of time ...
It's because the word 'Rad' means 'wheel', as well as being the shortened version of 'Fahrrad', meaning 'bicycle' - a bit like us shortening it to 'bike'.
A less flowery translation is "when you want to take pictures quickly from your bike" :)

And strangely enough, this photo was taken with the camera I keep in my Revelate Gas Tank

Photos from the wheel of time made me think of.....

Like a clock whose hands are sweeping
Past the minutes of it's face
And the world is like an apple
Whirling silently in space
Like the circles that you find
In the windmills of your mind !
