Any BB200/300 pictures?
My camera doesn`t work underwater so I didn`t take it out of the 3 bags it was in!
Re: Any BB200/300 pictures?
Just the one, this is at the nant y lynn(?) Stream crossing where you and whitestone kindly helped me over. Took it while waiting for the guy with the Lefty shod surly. Who managed fine without my help. Well done that man.

We found a log crossing 50m upstream of the underwater gate. That’s Tom and Javi shimmying across.

Some poor soul disappearing into the bog. Its was still an ITT at this point so no one stepped forward to help (too busy laughing). Kept his bike clean though.

Me too! Deceptively deep. I actually lost one of my shoes later on in the dark and took a minute or so to find it in the muck!Dave Barter wrote:Lol Chickenlegs will tell you I did that exact same thing there.

Plus 1...
Though it was my bike that went in...like a submarine with only half the back wheel sticking out

Pro tip - just on the edge of that big rock, there was some firm ground to step on.

Having been through there once before I happened to know about that bit of bog and the avoidance measuresScattamah wrote:Pro tip - just on the edge of that big rock, there was some firm ground to step on.

Good stuff. Hopefully the guys from the Star will post their stuff when they get a chance. Had an excellent vid of a river crossing.

Couple of vids, first one of the windy climb 10km in. And when I say "climb", I mean "push", obvs:
(contains an attempt at an expletive btw)

Second one of the uncrossable ford at 21km:
https://streamable.com/pgz02
I had a go at crossing, got up to navel level and it was still getting deeper before I'd even got to the fast-flowing bit.

This pic of the first climb goes some way to showing what trail conditions were like for the first four or five hours - pretty much everything was a running stream:

and anything that was normally a running stream looked more like this (Pete Gretton, Tom Stockton and Colin Todhunter just after Nant y Moch, 40km-ish)

First sign that the skies were starting to clear, about 3pm, on the 4km climb about 50km in:

A bit of ridiculous gate-closing engineering (as Andy Wright pointed out, it doesn't work), at the bottom of the Cerig Cochoin descent.

I can vouch for Dave sinking in that bog and he went in a long way, I only chuckled a little bit as he looked a bit p***ed off,Dave Barter wrote:Lol Chickenlegs will tell you I did that exact same thing there.
not many minutes later he went to extreme lengths to get cleaned up by throwing himself in a raging torrent, I didn't chuckle at all
at that one

Here attempting to sort the problem with my tyre filling it with leaflets in a toilet block at 100km from start. Nothing as exciting as the other pics but it made me laugh!
