Oldest, still used bit of kit?
I still use my Helly Hansen base layer top, it's 20+ years old. Had a few holes sewn up but still going strong.

Last year I finally replaced my waterproof (Endura) and tights (Pearl Izumi) which had both lasted since 1995.
I've also still got a Mavic/XT front wheel which is going strong after 15 years (though only v-brake obviously).

I've got a very battered looking but still highly functional MSR XGK II stove from about 1994.

I have loads of gear 20+ years old and still going strong - but not bikepacking friendly
Unless someone fancied lugging a gas bottle if I bring a double burner stove?! My trangia is also nearly 20 years old and the burner does get bought with me on bikepacking trips.
My rab atlas bag is 15 yrs old and also still going strong.

I have quite a bit of stuff I bought as a student, I'm 42 now. Bloody hell, that makes me feel old. I even have my first rope although it was last used as a zip line for a camera
I've got the smaller Trangia that used to be my brothers, I reckon it's approaching 30 years. Saunders jet packer also dates from mid to late 80s. Hasn't been used since 1997 but last time I looked in the storage bag it was ok :?

Re: Oldest, still used bit of kit?
MSR Whiperlite and a Thermarest (long) both bought in the States in 1989 and have seen lots of action on climbing and sea kayaking trips. Both are still functional (although the recently purchased NeoAir comfort has meant the Thermarest has been retired until the boys can use it).
MSR has seen some O-ring changes and the odd fettle of the jet etc. but the Themarest has never been repaired and still holds pressure all night.
