Multiday (more than 2 nights) Adventures
My maximum so far is 2 nights - any tips before I venture out for 6 nights on foreign soil?
Clean padded pants, teeth cleaning, sun creme, mozi repellent and washing have not been a consideration before now!

Step 1: Put that stuff in your bags.Clean padded pants, teeth cleaning, sun creme, mozi repellent and washing
Step 2: That's it.
Seriously though, as long as you can live with being a bit smelly, you really don't need much extra stuff. I find for multiple days, it's the extra food that takes the most space.

I was in a similar situation with life always being too busy with stuff to do more than a few days. Just go for it. I didn’t take any more clothes but allowed the luxury of a flannel which can make you feel fresh and didn’t really use it. Getting dirty happens slowly and you get used to it. Ride your bike and nothing else matters

I like to have something clean to wear of an evening if/when I'm having a few drinks and food, so a lightweight pair of shorts and shirt are always on board. Small bag of washing powder for washing the daytime cycling jersey each evening too.
Other than that's it's just the impeccable charm, wit and modesty that every Englishman carries abroad.

I suppose it depends where your multi-day ride is taking you.
Out in the wilds then there's no-one to point a finger and say "Ooh! You smell!" but you'll need to carry more food and fuel for cooking.
Nearer civilisation then a few wet wipes and a lightweight change of clothing might be in order. Does it matter if you wear the same t-shirt for more than one night in a row if it's only for a couple of hours at a time? Those in pub #2 aren't going to know you wore it in pub #1

Nah - good effort I/R but five days is my record with no change of togs or ablutions. That's the Miracle Of Bamboo for you
. What's the world BBB record then?

On my first climbing trip to Pakistan we had a competition: who could wear their underpants for the longest number of consecutive days without washing. After two months mine fell apartRIP wrote:Nah - good effort I/R but five days is my record with no change of togs or ablutions. That's the Miracle Of Bamboo for you.
