route planner like os maps or bikehike, but for Europe or specifically the alps

Not a planner but just come across a nice app, Europe 3D. Nice to play with and explore

I tend to use Ride With GPS & OSM maps for anything outside the UK. No complaints.

Anyone used Extrex 20x in Europe? Are the base maps good enough (I presume they are as they are good in UK) or is there any free/cheap downloads that are worthwhile? Particularly benelux area.

I used these on my Dakota for France. As well as usual paths it also had marked the singletrack/bike/hike loops that each village in Normandy seemed to have starting from the village square.

cycling-challenge.com not a route planner but a great resource for cols and what to expect, I've got a week near AdH planned off the back of using Will's recommendations.
