Portrait of a bikepacker - photo comp. WINNER!
You can now vote for your favourite picture. One vote per person and voting will remain open for 7 days. The winning entry will receive something nice for their efforts.
The list of names corresponds to the order of the pictures in the thread ... it's not difficult to fathom.
For no other reason than because we can, I thought we'd have a mid-year photo comp.
Post a photo here that in your mind represents the title 'Portrait of a bikepacker'. If possible, try and upload it rather than adding it as an attachment but if you must go down that route, please try and keep it small enough to prevent having to scroll.
One pic per person please but you can alter / edit your entry if you find something you prefer.
We'll keep things open for a couple of weeks then sort out some voting and I'll find the winner something nice.

What a wonderfully open title - I like it.
I'll dig through the archive later, but a single image already comes to mind.

Brilliant! I don't think there is any need to continue the competition...

Ricky sleeping rough at the edge of a river bed in the Mercantour, 2012. We'd run out of water that evening. Clear weather with almost no chance of large amounts of rain...

Nah, though it's good.BobCatMax wrote:winner! I'm calling it...
We need the one with that "look". There's a few times I've read Stu's posts and pictured him saying it with "that look" on his face
