WTD bivi bag/tarp
Does anyone have a bivi bag FS, I was looking at the Alpkit Hunka (or XL) but they're sold out and I've got a trip weekend after next.
Also interested in a 3m x 3m tarp if there's one going?
Cheers,
Andy

Pretty sure I've got a standard Hunka, might also have a 3x3 DD tarp ... I shall go and have a look.

Thanks all, I'd be interested in the standard Hunka if it's available, how much do you want for it Stu?
If not I'll keep an eye on the Hunka XL on eBay.
Cheers,
Andy

Re: WTD bivi bag/tarp
ARGH, thanks Stu, but my girlfriend oversaw the post and turns out she has ordered me a bivi bag after I had a moan the other night.
Thanks, hope someone else can take it/both of your hands!
Do you still have the tarp as may be interested in that?

Sorry Andy, just had a good rummage and the only DD tarp I can find is an XL which is massive. Worth looking at the LOMO 3x3 tarp, very good value and similar to the DD.

Would be very interested in your red hunka should the other person decide it's not for them.

Sorry but I think Max is having it. The Goretex bag Bob mentioned for sale eairlier would be a good buy.Would be very interested in your red hunka should the other person decide it's not for them.

Re: WTD bivi bag/tarp
Thanks a lot. Do you think it would be a good equivalent to the hunka? I've read really good reviews of the alpkit bags.

I do.Do you think it would be a good equivalent to the hunka?
You need to remember that the Hunka receives good reviews (and they are good bags) based partly on price when they're compared to more expensive bags. Bob's Goretex bag would have likely cost 4x what a Hunka does.

Re: WTD bivi bag/tarp
Thanks -that's really useful. Think he said it was event rather than goretex? My experience with event is limited to jackets and I've found it to be pretty good - any idea how well it works in bivvy bags?
